Job Responsibilities

As a writing tutor, you will be part of the library's teaching team and work within the Academic Language function. The team currently consists of a writing tutor and four librarians, and has the mission to support students in both writing and reading development as well as in developing information literacy. We are now filling a new position to further strengthen support for students in writing and reading development with a focus on Swedish as a second language.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in Swedish or Swedish as a second language at least at the bachelor's level, or other education deemed equivalent. You are communicative and have good collaboration skills while being self-driven and able to take your own initiatives. We place great importance on personal suitability. You also have:

• experience in teaching Swedish as a second language
• good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form, and preferably academic training in the subject.

It is an advantage if you have experience in pedagogical work within higher education.

We offer a permanent full-time position where a probationary period may apply, and start date is negotiable.
