JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a study and career counselor at GKC, you will play an important role in supporting our high school students in their future choices. You provide individual guidance by listening to each student's needs and helping them find their path, whether it concerns course selection, program orientation, or future studies and careers. You will also conduct information sessions and group guidance, creating safe forums for conversation and reflection.

A central part of your work is to establish and follow up on individual study plans, always with the student's best interests in focus. You collaborate closely with students, teachers, mentors, the student health team, and also cooperate with guardians. Together, we create a holistic approach to each student's development.

You build and maintain relationships with external actors, which is an important part of providing our students with current and relevant opportunities. The role also includes administrative tasks related to guidance and study choices, a natural part of maintaining structure and quality in the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree. Previous experience in study and career counseling is considered an advantage. However, it is equally important who you are as a person, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for a confident and attentive colleague who easily establishes trusting relationships and enjoys working both independently and in close collaboration with others.
