ABOUT THE WORKPLACE
Do you want to help develop our important student health work and contribute to creating the best conditions for our students' learning and health? We are now looking for a special educator for the central student health in Tranås municipality.

The central student health constitutes its own organization within the Department of Education, which includes special educators, school social workers, school nurses, school doctors, and school psychologists. The special educators of the central student health form their own team with close collaboration on overarching special educational issues.

The primary mission of student health is to work health-promoting and preventive and to support students' development towards the goals of education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special educator with us, we want you to have a cross-professional perspective and actively work together with other professional categories to create accessible learning environments for our students. The work includes, among other things, mapping, investigation, guidance, consultation, professional development, and student-related work. The work is carried out in collaboration with the local student health of the schools, educators, guardians, and principals. The work also includes being a support in student matters in collaboration with guardians and other activities within and outside the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a special education degree and a teaching license for teaching in primary or secondary school.

You have the ability to work in a team but also to work independently under your own responsibility. You are flexible, good at collaborating, and building relationships with students, guardians, and staff. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
