Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL nursing assistants. We work with patients aged 18 and older who require health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and regular housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main tasks consist of wound care, sampling, medication administration, and some catheter care. You work on delegation or according to instructions from the responsible nurse. After a secure and well-thought-out introduction, you will quickly settle into the role and work independently in the patients' home environment, but always with an engaged team behind you.

As an HSL nursing assistant, you are a key person in our operations. Through your work, you directly contribute to ensuring that our patients receive safe, professional, and high-quality care every day. The role also includes documentation according to our routines to ensure that care is safe and well-coordinated.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student with at least four completed semesters. To thrive in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, take responsibility, and have a good ability to collaborate. You are flexible, can quickly adapt to different situations, and have a genuine commitment to providing good care. We value that you thrive in a varied, unpretentious work environment and want to contribute to our high quality of care. Experience of similar tasks is an advantage.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have a B driver's license.
