Finjagården works with group treatment combined with individual interventions. We use structured treatment methods such as:

  • DBT

  • ACT

  • EMDR

  • CRA

  • PE


These are complemented by a quality system that ensures documented treatment results and creates transparency, participation, and security for clients, relatives, and stakeholders.


We work from a biopsychosocial perspective, which means that we work in teams with different functions (coach, therapist, nurse) with the client. We consider all aspects of the biological, psychological, and social in the treatment process. Success requires good internal collaboration and insight into each other's work.


About the position as a group therapist

As a group therapist, you will lead various treatment groups, such as:

  • DBT SS

  • Psychological stability

  • CRA

  • Self Compassion

  • ADHD

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on group treatment and participating in the overall treatment work at the unit.


Working hours:

The working hours are 8–17, 8–16, and one evening a week from 13–22.

  • the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional

  • professional approach towards clients, stakeholders, and colleagues


You are unpretentious and take responsibility to do your utmost every day to help clients achieve their goals. We place great importance on personal suitability. A criminal record check will be conducted prior to employment.


Qualifications (requirements):

  • Post-secondary education in a social/treatment-oriented field (e.g., social educator, social worker, treatment educator, or equivalent)

  • Experience in treatment work within psychiatry, addiction care, or similar

  • Comfortable leading groups or willing to develop in conducting structured treatment groups

  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

  • Good system proficiency (documentation)

  • Driving license B


Meritorious:

  • Experience leading treatment groups, e.g., DBT SS, CRA, psychological stability, Self Compassion, or similar

  • Knowledge of and experience working with neuropsychiatric disabilities

  • Several years of experience from HVB, psychiatry, or similar operations

About our units


The Park and The Loft

A total of 20 places distributed across two units. Accepts women and men aged 21–60 with mental health issues, such as:

  • Emotional instability

  • PTSD

  • Self-harm issues

  • Eating disorders

  • Neuropsychiatric disabilities

  • OCD

  • Anxiety issues

  • Depression

  • Suicidal and self-destructive behaviors

  • Co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse


The Villa

Has a total of 7 places. Accepts women and men aged 18–60 with mental health issues, such as:

  • Emotional instability

  • PTSD

  • Self-harm issues

  • Eating disorders

  • Neuropsychiatric disabilities

  • OCD

  • Anxiety issues

  • Depression

  • Suicidal and self-destructive behaviors

Note: no substance abuse is accepted at The Villa.
