Have you recently completed your natural science studies at the high school level and are interested in growing in a fast-paced lab environment? Then this is an opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for new laboratory assistants for exciting positions at Skånemejerier in Malmö. The positions are full-time, and we prefer that you have previous experience working in a lab environment, or that you have a strong interest in natural sciences, food, or chemistry. We expect you to have the drive and interest required to learn and perform the tasks in the role. It is a responsible position with a lot of development potential and a fast pace.

In the role of laboratory assistant, you will primarily work with microbiological and some chemical tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Sampling and culturing bacteria
• Measuring pH values
• Analysis of fat content and protein
• Sensory testing and evaluation of dairy products
• Documentation
• Collaboration with various departments within the company

The position is full-time and is expected to start as soon as we find the right candidate. Working hours are scheduled from Monday to Sunday and will vary between both day and night shifts. Employment is through StudentConsulting, and you will work at the client's location in Malmö. This role is long-term and is expected to continue, initially with a probationary period of 6 months.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, cooperative, and takes responsibility. It is important that you have a positive attitude towards milk and fermented products since sensory assessments will be part of the tasks.
