Primärvården Skåne is opening a psychotherapy clinic in Helsingborg and we are looking for a psychologist or psychotherapist who wants to help start, develop, and work clinically at our clinic. The clinic will be located in the premises of the Drottninghög health center, and you will enter a dynamic environment with a strong sense of community and broad expertise!

The Drottninghög health center is located in northeastern Helsingborg near the beautiful open-air museum Fredriksdal. It is a multicultural area, which makes our work even more varied and exciting. We currently have about 7,500 registered patients and approximately 800 registered children at the child health clinic (BVC). In your role, you will have good opportunities to collaborate with the health center's staff, even though you will meet patients from all over Skåne.

The Helsingborg psychotherapy clinic is part of a larger initiative for nine new clinics in Skåne. You will be part of the Drottninghög health center, a dynamic and multicultural work environment with about 30 engaged colleagues in interdisciplinary teams. Here, we value collaboration, development, and social community.

We have ongoing development work within Primärvården Skåne to improve quality and working environment, where new ideas and thoughts are welcomed. Region Skåne offers wellness grants, flexible working hours, training time digitally and in some cases physically, collective agreements, and individually adapted work environments. The health center prioritizes social community with various joint activities outside working hours for those who wish to participate. There are good opportunities for public transport and also access to parking.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will meet patients with varying backgrounds, ages, and issues. You will treat patients with mild to moderate conditions within the diagnostic areas of depression and anxiety syndromes, as well as stress-related issues. The work mainly consists of assessing and treating psychiatric conditions using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). You will have the opportunity to conduct manual-based treatments under secure employment forms that allow for evidence-based treatment, according to the conditions provided within the framework of the psychotherapy care choice. There are digital possibilities that, for example, enable digital administration of assessment forms, smooth contact between patient and therapist, and of course the possibility of video calls.

For patients registered at the health center, you will have good opportunities for close and good collaboration with referring doctors or psychologists. You will also have a general opportunity to consult the health center's expertise as needed.

Primärvården Skåne strives to develop working methods that increase accessibility for our patients. Digital tools are one of several enablers for this. You will be part of a region-wide team with other therapists within Primärvården Skåne who work within the psychotherapy care choice throughout Skåne to together create a safe and quality-developing care for the residents of Skåne.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist or psychotherapist with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. It is also a requirement that you have studied cognitive behavioral therapy. Furthermore, you must have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale. Previous experience of treatment work at the primary care level or within psychiatry is an advantage.
