Following a decision by the Regional Council, our mission in gastroscopy and colonoscopy has been expanded, which means an increased need for experienced and engaged staff. Our ambition is to conduct a patient-safe, efficient, and sustainable endoscopy operation with high quality at every level.

The Endoscopy Unit is part of the outpatient and rehabilitation medicine area and has close collaboration with the gastroenterology department, care wards, and other units in the hospital. Together, we work for good patient flows, high medical quality, and a professional approach.

Our goal is to perform approximately 3,000 endoscopic examinations by the end of 2026/2027. To achieve this, we focus on structured working methods, continuous professional development, patient safety, and a good working environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a licensed nurse with skills in endoscopy who wants to become part of our team. The need for skills in gastroscopy and colonoscopy is significant and continues to grow. With us, you will independently perform gastro- and colonoscopies, with access to support and advice from physicians in the gastro section as needed.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare
• Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale
• Further education in gastrointestinal endoscopy
• At least two years of professional experience as an endoscopy nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience in outpatient care
• Experience working in endoscopy

You are secure in your professional role, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are engaged, curious, and have a solution-focused approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
