The area of intensive and perioperative care (VO IPV) is responsible for anesthesia and surgical nursing at Skåne University Hospital. Within IPV Malmö, Operations Service Women's Surgery (OKK), Operations Service Surgery (OK), Operations Service Orthopedics (OO), Operations Service Reconstructive Surgery (ORK), and Anesthesia Service for hand surgical procedures are included.

OKK is a highly specialized surgical department that operates around the clock. We provide anesthesia and surgical services for women's healthcare as well as for general surgery, conducting both elective and emergency surgeries. Adjacent to the surgical department is a well-established pre- and postoperative unit. We are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to our surgical department.

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will work with perioperative care. At OKK, we have dual competence, which means that you as a nursing assistant will assist both the anesthesia and surgical nurses.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the requirements for a protected professional title set by the National Board of Health and Welfare, regardless of whether you have studied under the previous or current program structure. If you have studied under the previous program structure, we welcome you with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Your language skills in Swedish are good in both spoken and written form. Previous work experience in anesthesia and/or surgery, as well as training as a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on anesthesia, surgery, or intensive care, is considered advantageous for the position.

As a person, you are committed, attentive, flexible, responsible, and service-oriented. You are confident in your role as a nursing assistant and have the ability to make both large and small decisions. You contribute to a good atmosphere and collaboration within the team in an unpretentious manner and through good communication.
