Advanced Home Care (ASIH) is organizationally part of the management for Close Care and Health, within the mobile teams and specialized palliative care in southeastern Skåne. We offer specialized palliative care aimed at alleviating symptoms and preventing suffering associated with incurable or chronic illness, regardless of age or diagnosis.
Care can be provided as inpatient care, admission within ASIH, outpatient care, or in the home and special accommodations. The goal of the care is to provide qualified care around the clock so that patients can achieve the highest possible quality of life. The care is conducted in close collaboration with the patient and their relatives.
The operation in Ystad is a unit consisting of teams with nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, doctors, medical secretaries, and hospital chaplains. We continuously work to develop and strengthen teamwork to create an attractive workplace. Each employee contributes with their specific competencies where our joint efforts make a significant difference for patients and relatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves making assessments and providing care in the home. The purpose of the care is to collaborate with the patient and alleviate the symptoms that the patient is troubled by to achieve the highest possible quality of life. This means addressing the patient's physical, psychological, and existential needs, as well as providing support to relatives. If you are interested in learning and developing, both as a nurse and as a person, you will thrive in our team.
The position is a fixed-term employment for one year.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with a few years of professional experience. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is a requirement. Since the operation consists of care places in the patient's own home or in special accommodations, a valid B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We would also like you to have specialized training in oncology and/or palliative care.

Part of the work involves support and conversations, so it is important that you are communicative and have the ability to meet people on different levels. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach and can prioritize between different tasks when the work pace is high. The management for Close Care and Health has existed since January 1, 2025. The management is responsible for grant-funded healthcare activities within close care. This includes, among other things, mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient services within close care, acute care within close care, 1177 by phone, and some region-wide functions. In addition, the management is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is expected to be around 1,000.
