The dialysis units at the Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) and in Hässleholm have the capacity to treat 40 hemodialysis patients simultaneously. The majority of treatments are performed in outpatient care, where patients with chronic dialysis needs return 2-4 times a week. We also treat inpatients with acute kidney failure who require temporary dialysis treatment. Within the nephrology unit to which the dialysis unit belongs, peritoneal dialysis and outpatient services for kidney patients are also conducted. The nephrology unit has 60 employees.

CSK is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Emergency care is provided here around the clock. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care in most specialties. We are approximately 2,600 employees.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We now have the opportunity to welcome a nurse to our dialysis clinic in Kristianstad.

As a nurse with us, you work independently, but never alone. The work is carried out in a team together with other professional categories to provide the best possible care and nursing for the dialysis patients who come here. You work with the whole person in focus. Both socially and technically, you are offered a stimulating environment where the opportunity for further development is a given.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement. Experience from dialysis and/or nephrology is considered an asset.

We are looking for someone who shows a strong commitment to the operation and wants to contribute to our continued development. You have the ability to independently perform your tasks and are flexible in your approach. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
