Home Care Coordinators Wanted at Katrinetorp

The Katrinetorp ordinary housing unit consists of 13 sections distributed across three resource areas. We are now looking for three home care coordinators for the Lockarp, Västra Hindby, and Folkets hus resource area. We have a good collaboration both between our sections and between different operations, focusing on users, participation, and continuity.

The position is scheduled for evening hours, Monday to Friday, with shifts running from approximately 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

As a home care coordinator, you will have overall responsibility for the daily coordination and schedule planning of the home care area's services, in close collaboration with the section manager and other employees.

You will also work with absence planning and ensure short-term staffing, primarily using our Lifecare planning system. You will receive orders from the authority and handle ongoing other tasks that arise in the operation. You will have daily contact with users and relatives, as well as other internal and external stakeholders related to the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Approved high school education
  • At least 6 months of experience working as a home care coordinator
  • Experience using a computer as a tool and is willing and able to quickly learn new programs and systems
  • Experience working in the Lifecare planning system
  • Driver's license and ability to cycle
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

  • High school education with a focus on care and welfare
  • Experience in municipal operations
  • Worked in the Medvind and Vikariebanken systems

As a home care coordinator, you will be part of a larger context together with several professional groups, both internally and externally. Therefore, you need to be communicative and have good collaboration skills. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and work solution-oriented.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to structure your work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The work is fast-paced and requires you to be patient and adaptable to changing conditions. You are goal- and results-oriented, working from clear objectives that guide your priorities and methods. When goals change, you have the ability to adapt and continue delivering based on the needs of the operation.

You are stable and maintain calm even in pressured situations, with the ability to focus on the right things. You are persistent and remain motivated and effective even under high workloads or setbacks. Furthermore, you are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and advance your work independently.
