Job Responsibilities
In the functional support administration, physiotherapists and occupational therapists work with patients belonging to LSS or social psychiatry.
The overarching goal in our areas of operation is to create a good, valuable, and functional everyday life for our patients and the administration's users. We work with preventive, maintaining, and rehabilitative measures. We are undergoing a reorganization that will focus future health-promoting and preventive efforts on those living in special accommodations belonging to groups 1, 2, and 3.
You will work broadly with both transfers and aids as well as with ADL training, cognitive interventions, and special treatments. All to create a functioning everyday life in balance for our patients.
The health and medical care team around the patient consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, and nursing assistants. You will also collaborate with people in the patients' surroundings, and a pedagogical and educational approach is important to motivate and support individuals in the network around the patient. As part of the team, you contribute valuable and meaningful work for individuals in great need of support and interventions.
In preparation for the transition to Close Care, we are now looking for someone who wants to work from a person-centered approach and be part of the development of the business moving forward. At the workplace, you will receive collegial supervision from experienced colleagues and a well-structured introduction program.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who is interested in working with individuals in LSS housing, social psychiatry, and personal assistance. Previous experience working with this target group is an advantage. Experience in municipal healthcare can also be beneficial. You are eager to contribute your knowledge and experience to develop the business and, of course, you enjoy working in a team around the patient.
You have a holistic view and a good ability to analyze and reflect from different perspectives and can find solutions depending on needs and situations. At the same time, you can delimit your work and work goal-oriented. Your collaboration with the patient, colleagues, and the entire network is good, and you have a responsive, coaching, and supportive approach.
Your ability to plan and prioritize is good, both independently and with the support of your colleagues and immediate supervisor.
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are a requirement.
A B driver's license is required, as well as the ability to cycle.
About the Workplace
The rehabilitation section is part of the administration's health and medical care unit. We currently have a total of 40 licensed occupational therapists and physiotherapists/physical therapists who work together with preventive, improving, and compensatory measures for individuals with reduced functional and/or activity abilities. Together, we make it possible for Malmö residents to live an independent life and have a functioning everyday life.
In the functional support administration, we work together to create and develop even better support and services for individuals with disabilities. Our operations are within LSS, social psychiatry, personal assistance, guides, and relief workers, as well as health and medical care. Severely ill children who are cared for at home are also part of our mission. We work for everyone's right to good health, the opportunity for work and employment, and the ability to participate in society based on their conditions. Join us in creating a meaningful and good life for Malmö residents with mental, intellectual, or physical disabilities!
