The neurology clinic is part of the neurological care unit and is a part of the medical area at CSK. We are a specialist clinic for patients who are being investigated and treated for a neurological disease. The largest diagnostic groups are epilepsy, MS, ALS, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and migraine. With the patient at the center, we work closely in interdisciplinary teams where doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries together create the best possible care. Resources also include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and speech therapists. The neurology clinic shares premises with the medical clinic at CSK.

CSK is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. With the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and community of a smaller hospital, CSK offers residents in the catchment area care in all specialties. We are about 2,600 employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the neurology clinic, you will have your own nursing clinic with both patient visits and follow-up calls. You will staff our telephone advice service and rotate to our infusion clinic where our patient groups come for treatment. In your work, you will also have team visits, 1177, appointment booking, registry management, and advice to other departments as well as other usual nursing tasks.

The working hours at the clinic are during the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in neurology and an interest in Parkinson's.

This role is aimed at you with good organizational skills and foresight, who can also adapt and prioritize work when urgent situations arise.
