The Heart Clinic for Arrhythmia and Pacemaker Surgery is a highly specialized interventional unit. In our arrhythmia laboratory, invasive electrophysiological examinations and treatments of cardiac arrhythmias are performed. With approximately 1000 ablations per year, we are one of Sweden's largest centers for invasive electrophysiology.
At Pacemaker Surgery, we meet patients in the outpatient clinic, conduct follow-ups, and perform remote readings of pacemaker and ICD treatments, as well as perioperative nursing work. Pacemaker Surgery is one of Europe's largest centers for the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, with around 900 operations annually. We have a NHV assignment in extraction surgery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We offer the opportunity to work as a nursing nurse in our Pacemaker unit.
The work is varied and stimulating, where no two days are alike. As a nurse, you will develop through diverse tasks that include both pre- and postoperative care as well as nursing responsibilities in the operating room. With us, you will gain increased knowledge and competence in pacemaker care. We offer internal training in basic programming of pacemakers. It may also become relevant to be trained to assist sterilely during operations.
The unit works transprofessionally and strives to provide the highest quality of care to patients. QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. For this role, we consider it an advantage if you have several years of experience working in cardiac care. It is beneficial if you have knowledge of EKG and arrhythmia treatment. If you have experience working in an operating environment and/or have previous experience draping and assisting/instrumenting sterilely during operations, it is meritorious. We view familiarity with Melior positively.
