About us

Björkviks care home is part of Humana, a leading player in care and support. Our unit, located in Höör, has three departments, special housing (SÄBO) and short-term care. Our clients have varied psychiatric issues including psychosis, anxiety, personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disorders, and often in combination with substance abuse. Our clients are from 18 years and older, and we work to provide them with support and help that truly makes a difference. At Björkvik, we primarily work with a foundation in CBT.

With us, we work in close collaboration between different professions. Our team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, activity staff, chefs, and psychiatrists.

About the position

As a care staff member with us, you will have a varied job where you will plan and implement individual interventions based on the needs and goals outlined in our residents' action plans. You will document daily in our documentation system. Together with colleagues, you will distribute tasks and communicate with other health care professionals.

Examples of tasks:

  • Motivational and supportive conversations

  • Follow up on residents' weekly planning and action plans

  • Manage medications according to delegation

  • Plan activities and transportation

  • Social interaction

  • Support with daily interventions and ADL

Employment conditions:

We are now looking for a staff member for a permanent position, with a six-month probationary period. The employment rate is 100%. Working hours are varied and may include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Salary is according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date for the position is according to agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, attentive, and flexible. You are a person who has the ability to handle stressful situations with security and stability. You are responsible and can independently structure your work while having good collaborative skills and enjoying teamwork. You have a pedagogical insight into people's different conditions and can adapt your communication style to their needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained nursing assistant, social educator, or has equivalent knowledge and experience

  • Experience working with the target group, comorbidity.

  • Manual B driving license
