Anderslöv Health Centre is located in completely new premises with a modern rehabilitation unit, a large gymnasium, and fresh treatment rooms. You will become one of three physiotherapists. We have stable staffing with high competence, engaged employees, and a strong sense of community.

We have just over 30 employees with various professions: physiotherapists, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We also have a family centre with Child Health Services (BVC).

Together, we work to offer all our patients safe, high-quality healthcare with a positive approach.

Job Description

As a physiotherapist, you will be the first point of contact for assessments and treatments of patients with main complaints from the musculoskeletal system. Other diagnoses such as neurological conditions, chronic pain, and psychosomatic issues are also included. Treatments are provided both individually and in groups. You will see patients of different ages, which provides great stimulation. Together with the patient, and if necessary, your physiotherapy colleagues and other professional groups, you will develop a treatment plan.

The duties include, among other things, implementing disease-preventive interventions, performing acute treatment for pain and/or injury, and working on measures to improve and maintain function. The goal is to provide the patient with the prerequisites to become independent in managing their health issue, based on the problem and assessed functional capacity.

You will also collaborate with other professional categories in the team to contribute to diagnosis and the creation of a plan for continued treatment, based on the patient's symptoms and individual needs. At the unit, we strive to work with high accessibility and stepped care, which enables us to see patients seeking help at an early stage with close collaboration with other professional groups.

We work with team-based care. The health centre is divided into 3 teams, which meet twice a week to discuss complex cases regarding our patients. These team meetings add value not only for patients but also for all staff members. Team collaboration brings joy in work, knowledge enhancement, and an opportunity to share the burden that complex care cases can bring.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We would appreciate it if you had experience working in primary care. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience or education in McKenzie A and B, orthopedics (OMI/OMT/MDT), and acupuncture.

We are looking for a person who is proactive, engaged, responsible, and enjoys working in a group, but also has a good ability to work independently. As part of an appreciated and pleasant group, we would like you to be good at communicating with others, contribute to a good work environment, and be able to adapt quickly when the situation requires it. In your meeting with the patient, you see the whole picture and advocate for a healthy lifestyle. In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In this recruitment, we apply rolling selection. You are warmly welcome to submit your application today!

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months.
