The Adult Habilitation Clinic serves individuals over 18 years of age who have permanent disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act of Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also serve the patients' relatives as well as staff and assistants. The operations are conducted in a cross-disciplinary team work together with psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

The work of habilitation is based on the value base of the equal value of all people, the inherent strength of all people, everyone's right to privacy and self-determination, and all children's right to express their opinion.

DUTIES

With us, as a physiotherapist, you will have a broad and varied position that involves helping each individual patient achieve the best possible conditions for a well-functioning daily life. Interventions are provided through analysis and assessment of functional and activity capacity, treatment through functional and activity training, as well as prescription, fitting, and follow-up of assistive devices and/or special adaptations. The planning is developed together with the patient and their network. You participate in various educational and group interventions and provide guidance on motor training in daily activities and other physical activity. The interventions are provided individually and/or in groups.

You meet the patients in our premises, via digital contacts, but also in the home or at the workplace if necessary. An important part of the work is to collaborate with other actors such as the municipality's various operations, assistive device operations, orthopedic technical operations, workplaces, and more. Travel occurs in the position and access to a company car is available. The employment is full-time, with the possibility of part-time after agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role, you need to have good cooperation skills as interventions are planned based on the patient's needs and together with other team members. As a person, you are flexible, creative, and development-oriented. In your work, you are structured and independent and are happy to take your own initiatives. You also enjoy collaborating with other units, authorities, and actors. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Regarding formal requirements, we are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist/physiotherapist with permission to work in Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale and a valid B-driver's license. Experience of similar work with people with disabilities and/or habilitation work is an advantage for the position. In addition, you are accustomed to working with different IT systems and have an openness to digital healthcare contacts.
