At Örkelljunga Health Centre, 20 employees from various professional categories work together, and we have approximately 6,000 registered patients. Our patients have great trust in us, often choosing to travel here rather than booking an ambulance. This is as close as it gets to rural medicine in Skåne.

Here, you will work alongside general medicine specialists as well as specialty trainee and internship doctors in a well-organized medical practice supported by assistant nurses and secretaries. We also have nursing and district clinics for asthma/COPD, a diabetes clinic, elderly care clinic, smoking cessation program, blood pressure clinic, and a family center with an associated child health center (BVC). Additionally, we have a very functional collaboration with our physiotherapy clinic, where physiotherapists and a counselor with a CBT focus work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a specialty trainee doctor (ST-läkare) with us, you will perform tasks commonly found at a health center. You will also have the opportunity to work with a well-established child health center (BVC), where there are currently around 500 registered children. Since we manage a special housing facility, you will also have the opportunity to be responsible for one of these. Home healthcare with ward rounds will be offered at the Health Centre.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed physician who has completed your internship (AT) or basic training (BT) with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and thrive working cross-professionally with other professional categories. We also value that you are flexible and engaged in your work. Furthermore, you have good empathy and understanding for the patient. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
