At the pediatric emergency clinic, we care for children and young people up to 18 years of age around the clock. The children and young people we treat have medical, orthopedic, and surgical conditions. We work according to child-adapted care with the young patient in focus. At the clinic, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors with various specialist competencies work together. For us, it is natural to have fun at work, just as it is natural that we help and support each other when tough situations arise.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the pediatric emergency clinic, you provide care and treatment for everything from minor ailments to receiving ambulances on call with a severely ill child. The work takes place in close collaboration with nursing assistants and doctors, where you together form a team around the child and the family. With us, you play a significant role in meeting and securing the young patient and their relatives. We offer a work environment characterized by great variation, high competence, strong team spirit, and a professional approach.

It is important to us that you feel secure in your role and that you have good conditions for developing in your work. Therefore, we invest in regular competence development and further education for our employees, for example in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for children in acute care. When you start with us, we create an individualized introduction program based on your needs and previous experience.

We staff the clinic with nurses around the clock and have a working hours model that provides bonus time for inconvenient working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a genuine interest in children and young people and who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Having worked with children and/or emergency healthcare is meritorious, as is having specialized education in health and medical care for children and young people.

As a person, you are positive, proactive, and enjoy working in a team. You put the young patient in focus and adapt quickly to changed circumstances.
