JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in working as a physiotherapist in truly patient-centered work, every day at the patient's home together with care staff?

We are in an ongoing development where we need to change and develop our operations. In our work related to Good and Close Care, we focus on a rehabilitative approach to strengthen the health-promoting perspective and the work with person-centered care.

Your mission will be to constantly promote the individual patient's own resources and to implement a rehabilitative approach as a natural part of the daily work with the patient, to the joy and benefit of both the patient and care staff. This means that guidance, support, and education for care staff are a significant part of the job and take place in a responsive, respectful, and implementing manner directly at the moment with the individual patient, aiming for the patient to live an independent and active life.

You will work preventively, and the position has a clear focus on rehabilitation/habilitation and the development of preventive work. You will continuously work together with care staff in the daily work with the patient.

The work may also involve you making assessments together with an occupational therapist to promote physical, psychological, and cognitive functions as well as assistive device evaluations.

Organizationally, you belong to the Rehabilitation Unit and work within the Health and Care operational area. Within the Rehabilitation Unit, good collegial exchange and support are offered on a daily basis, but your placement will be in the daily work together with the patient and care staff.

You are responsible for driving and developing measurable methods for independence, participation, quality, and rehabilitation/habilitation for the individual patient.

The work takes place in close teamwork with other professionals around the patient, such as occupational therapists, nurses, dietitians, care staff, rehabilitation assistants, and case managers, as well as through good collaboration with both regional operations and other actors.

The position is structured as a project during the first two years. Work methods, quality, and achieved implementation of the rehabilitative approach will be continuously evaluated. Based on the evaluation, the long-term design of the position will be assessed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed physiotherapist and enjoys working with people, has a good attitude, and meets each individual based on their needs and conditions.

You should have a clear focus on the implementation and application of a rehabilitative approach and how the individual's own resources are promoted.

With commitment, a flexible attitude, and a pedagogical and communicative approach, you enjoy guiding, inspiring, and creating security in meetings with both patients and care staff.

You have a good attitude and thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a strong team.

Experience in municipal rehabilitation and good documentation skills in operational systems are advantageous. Furthermore, you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, as well as good computer skills.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Since travel is included in the position, a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is a requirement.
