Welcome to the Evening and Weekend Reception (KHM) in Lund, located at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Lund. Here, you are close to both train and bus connections as well as the parking garage.

KHM is tasked with meeting citizens' needs for emergency unplanned primary care during evenings and weekends. High medical quality, continuity, high availability, and patient safety are our focus, and we always put the patient's best interests at the center. From April 1, 2025, we will belong to the new administration Close Care and Health.

We are constantly working to develop our operations based on our patients' needs by offering high availability and good care quality. Regular staff meetings and professional gatherings are a given for us, so we can together develop common goals, where everyone's contributions are equally important.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone interested in emergency care who wants to work at our triage reception where we have close cooperation with both the children's and adult emergency departments. You will ensure that all our patients receive a good reception and professional care. The role involves performing nursing tasks that are commonly found in primary care emergency/on-call, such as triaging at drop-in and telephone advice.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably further trained as a district nurse, with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

If you have experience working at a health center and/or in emergency care, this is highly meritorious. For the position, it is important to have a good understanding of the care processes that occur in primary care and specialized emergency care.

As a person, you are responsible, have a good sense of how to meet people in various life situations, and are grounded in a positive attitude. Additionally, you actively contribute to the development of the operations and always work in the best interests of the patients and the organization. Since we work in interdisciplinary teams, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with other professional categories and that you have good communication skills.
