New Colleague Wanted for Elderly Care in Stångby

The municipality of Lund operates 15 special accommodations for the elderly.

The residences are geographically located throughout the municipality, and here live individuals in need of service and care around the clock. The accommodation in Stångby is new, having opened its first departments a year ago, and now that the last department is opening, we are looking for another colleague.

About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Focusing on team-based collaboration, 2-4 nurses are assigned to each residence. As a nurse, you will be responsible for the care of a number of patients living in the accommodation. You will conduct assessments of health conditions, decide on medical interventions, carry out prescriptions, and follow up on the actions taken. Together with the team, which also includes occupational therapists and physiotherapists, you will work solution-focused and pedagogically to guide, teach, and delegate to care staff. You will have close cooperation with both relatives and care staff as well as the accommodation manager.

Your working hours are daytime Monday to Friday and every 8th weekend. When you work weekends, it is in weekend collaboration, which means that you, regardless of which residence you normally work at, will start from HSL's centrally located office in Lund. Weekend collaboration means that you also work directed towards home care and LSS.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have specialized training in elderly care, that is an advantage, as is experience from working in elderly care and dementia care.

You have a solution-focused approach with a good ability to work in a team as well as independently. Good computer skills and a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish are required. A driver's license for a passenger car is required.
