Licensed Doctor for Mobile Team in Primary Care

The mobile primary care team is already established in Skåne and has been received very positively. The concept in Malmö and Trelleborg started a year ago and the operation is still under development. This is a cohesive form of care where primary care functions as the hub in collaboration with other healthcare providers.

The team is based in premises on Barkgatan in Malmö and consists of doctors, nurses, social workers, and medical secretaries. We offer safe, clear, and accessible healthcare at home for frail and multi-ill patients.

The team has the competence to assess, plan, prescribe, and implement interventions. Care is tailored individually based on each patient's specific needs, with the aim of providing qualified care of high standards both medically and psychosocially.

Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. For doctors, on-call duties are also included on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 08:00 to 17:00.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves independent work where you conduct home visits to patients in teams together with nurses in the catchment area. You lead and actively participate in planning around the patient's care together with other professionals and collaborate with other healthcare providers.

The patient receives medical assessment and treatment that would otherwise be performed in a hospital. In cases where patients may need hospital care, we strive for direct admissions to the ward. Participation in the development and improvement work of the operation is, of course, also part of your job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have a specialist competence in, for example, general medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, or other specialist competence deemed relevant. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. A valid B driver's license is also required, as care is primarily provided in patients' homes. Experience from similar work is an advantage.

You have good professional skills, are confident in your professional role, and have the patient in focus with the ability to see the patient's individual needs. Part of the work involves support and conversations, which is why you must be communicative and have the ability to meet people at different stages of life. You have a flexible approach to solving the layout of the workday. Quality and improvement work and close collaboration with the team are a given. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
