The Mobile Teams and specialized palliative care encompass five geographical operational areas as well as the Palliative Development Center. Within the area of Mobile Teams and specialized palliative care, specialized palliative care and other advanced home healthcare are provided in collaboration with other healthcare actors and municipalities. The mission is to offer specialized palliative care and other advanced home healthcare around the clock.

The Mobile teams and Medical car Skåne operate from nine locations in Skåne, and care is provided in the patient's regular residence, municipal housing, or in a palliative inpatient care unit.
