We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in technical communication or technical writing who wants to take the next step in a high-tech environment. Here, you will combine analytical skills with creative communication and help make advanced technology accessible and clear for those who work closest to it.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a technical communicator, you will produce clear and useful operator instructions, currently created in PowerPoint. The work is done step by step and is based on close collaboration with the business. You will gather materials through interviews and photography, process the material, and design the instructions in the correct template and system. After that, there will be a review and approval by relevant specialists before the material is finalized.

For this role, we are looking for someone with an interest in creating, writing, and presenting information in a way that reaches different target groups. You have a sense of language style and information flow. Furthermore, you enjoy and have the ability to analyze and improve technical content and structure so that it becomes clearer and easier to understand for operators.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a YH, college, or university degree as a technical communicator or technical writer, or equivalent work experience.
• Has previously worked with data collection and created easy-to-read documents.
• Has good knowledge of Office programs.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have worked in the industry.
• Have knowledge of the Machinery Directive and machine safety.

Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where we are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and systematic. You also have a strong drive and the ability to make independent decisions and a great ability to work independently. You are skilled at collaborating and communicating with many different stakeholders, both within and outside the organization, and have the ability to build and maintain good relationships over time.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at Friday, but the ambition is that you will be employed by the company after about 6 months.
