Dedicated and Experienced Preschool Assistant Wanted at Björndammen Preschool!

We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced preschool assistant at Björndammen Preschool! If you are an experienced student assistant or support assistant, or have other relevant experience with children in need of special support, you are warmly welcome to apply for the position.

In this role, you will work closely with a child who has a significant need for extra support. The role is important and requires both experience and professionalism – do you want to be the reliable adult who makes a real difference in the child's everyday life at preschool?

You will work in a group of children but with a specific responsibility to support one particular child. The job involves actively contributing with structure, security, and a relational approach, and together with the team, you will create good conditions for the child's development and learning.

The working hours are scheduled between 6 AM and 6 PM and are based on the child's time at preschool. The employment rate is 100%, and the start date is January 8, 2026 – to be considered for the position, you need to be able to start working on this date.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience working in preschool or school settings. You have experience working with children who have special support needs and possess good knowledge of neuropsychiatric diagnoses. You have excellent oral Swedish skills.

Education as a preschool assistant or support assistant is an advantage, but not a requirement for this position – your experience in preschool/school is what matters most.

You are a reliable, attentive, and responsible person, as well as possessing good relational knowledge and collaboration skills. You thrive in a role where relationships, clarity, and stability are crucial!
