About the Organization

The Social Services Administration in Trollhättan Municipality provides support according to LSS or SFB to those who have chosen us as their provider for personal assistance.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a substitute means that you must be able to report to the workplace at short notice when the need for a substitute arises. The need for substitutes may vary over time.

As an assistant, you will provide support based on approved hours, which means you will provide close support and care to our clients around the clock. Close support includes assistance with hygiene situations, medical care, transfers, communication, and other personal care.

Qualifications

  • We prefer that you have previously worked in personal assistance.
  • If you have an approved or ongoing education from the Care Program or another education that the employer deems equivalent, this is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required for the job.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • A driver's license is an advantage, especially for manual transmission, but not a requirement.

You are engaged, knowledgeable, humble, and attentive. We would like you to have previous experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or challenging behavior. It is also of great value if you have knowledge of qualified medical care and/or epilepsy.

To create a good quality of life, you show a great interest in your work. You also build good relationships with both clients, relatives, and colleagues, and you collaborate with other professionals you meet in your work.
