Responsibilities

I am a 33-year-old man with severe rheumatism and autism looking for a personal assistant for round-the-clock shifts. As my assistant, you will become an important part of my life, helping me with everything from daily routines to finding motivation to receive support and participate in activities.

I have difficulty moving due to my rheumatism, which means I need help with things like personal care, cooking, and cleaning. My autism makes it hard for me to find motivation and deal with changes, but with the right support, I can make significant progress. It is important that you are patient and understanding.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, watching TV, and I am fascinated by Japan - a country and culture that intrigues me a lot. I also like to joke and have fun, so if you have a sense of humor and can share a good laugh, we will likely get along well!

Qualifications

To be a good fit as my assistant, it is helpful if you have experience working with individuals with similar needs, but it is not a requirement - your personality and attitude are the most important. I am looking for someone who is calm, reliable, and motivating.

If you want to work with me, you should also have a genuine interest in motivating and supporting others. If you also enjoy gaming and watching TV, that is a big plus!

About the Position

This is a part-time/as-needed position with round-the-clock shifts and shorter day shifts, which means you need to be able to work both day, night, and weekends according to a schedule. We work based on active motivational efforts within the team, and you will receive support and guidance to feel secure in your role.
