 The position starts as a part-time employment, with the possibility of transitioning to a 75% temporary position. We are also looking for part-time employees who can step in as needed. Work is done in shifts, and on-call is compensated in addition to the fixed employment rate.

Our client is a social and active 31-year-old man living in Stenungsund. He has a CP injury and uses a wheelchair but can manage his own transfers. Due to impaired vision, he needs someone who can be his extra eyes in everyday life. Communication occurs with single words and signs, which means that you as an assistant need to be attentive, patient, and aware of his signals. Understanding his needs and wishes is an important part of the job, and you will quickly notice that his cheerful and positive personality makes every workday rewarding.

• Encouraging and motivating him during training – and making sure it’s fun!
• Joining him for bowling, swimming, or other fun activities.
• Being his support in everyday life and helping him get the most out of his day.
• Creating a safe and inspiring environment where you together ensure that "things happen". 

As an assistant, you are there where it happens, and you play an important role in creating a fun and meaningful everyday life for him.

• A social and creative person with a great sense of humor.
• Shares his interest in training and healthy eating.
• Confident behind the wheel – you will be driving his car.
• Able to swim and comfortable in water.
• Basic knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written.
• Non-smoker and fragrance-free.

• Start date: Immediate.
• Employment rate: Part-time employment with the possibility of a 75% temporary position, as well as the option for one person to be solely part-time and step in as needed.
• Agreement: Introductory shifts and about a month of part-time employment before regular employment rate is assigned, provided that everything has gone well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
• Work shifts: Shifts with on-call.

  To ensure that we maintain high quality in assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
