Job Responsibilities

The operations are located in Örgryte Härlanda, at Vävskedsgatan's BmSS.

The target group is individuals with intellectual disabilities. At Vävskedsgatan, we have 7 users, including one housing support case. There are 6 employees, including 1 pedagog.

As a support pedagog, you will have overall responsibility for the pedagogical work within the operation. You will establish working methods and ensure they are used and developed effectively. Together with the workgroup, you will create, implement, and follow up on routines, action plans, and activity descriptions. You will ensure that social documentation and implementation plans are established, developed, and followed according to laws and guidelines.

As a support pedagog, you are a knowledge resource in the work team. You act as support and guide for each individual employee, the workgroup, and also support the manager. You will guide the workgroup based on the needs and methods of the operation. Together with your colleagues, you will play a central role in the quality development of the operation and the systematic improvement work.

You will be part of a network with other pedagogues and collaborate with relatives, guardians, and other key persons to ensure tenants receive good care, support, and service.

Working hours include day, evening, sleeping on-call, and weekend shifts. We use Time Care Planning for operationally adapted and flexible basic schedules.

Qualifications

For the position of support pedagog, post-secondary specialization in the disability field is required, encompassing at least 200 YH points or 60 higher education credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least two semesters of full-time studies. The education should have a clear focus on the disability field in its entirety.

Previous experience working as a support pedagog is a requirement.

You must have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as you will independently create documentation according to IBIC and other social documentation. Therefore, approved grades in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 are required. If you lack this, you may need to take a language test via Educateit.
