About the job

The elderly care in Social Welfare includes both home care units and special accommodations. We work based on a team organization where the goal is to offer coordinated support at the right level based on individual needs and wishes. The management team includes the unit manager of each unit as well as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Job responsibilities:

As an assistance officer, you will work on investigating, assessing, and deciding on interventions according to SoL. You will have close cooperation with the providers. You provide service, information, and support to users, relatives, and organizations, etc. Collaboration occurs with internal and external partners and authorities.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has or is currently studying a degree in social work, social care, or another equivalent higher education. You should have experience and knowledge of current legislation and authority exercise within the care and welfare area.

Your personal qualities to thrive in the job and create trustworthy meetings are independence, initiative, and the ability to collaborate. You have an interest and are attentive to individual needs.

Since social documentation and communication are important in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills. A driver's license is a requirement.
