Job Description 

Would you like to join our team and work as a personal assistant for our male client living in Hönö? 

The client has an acquired brain injury and has experienced weakness in his left arm and leg. He has cognitive challenges, including impaired time perception, and aphasia, which means he has some speech difficulties.

As a personal assistant, you will support him in daily activities such as personal hygiene, communication, transfers, dressing and undressing, as well as household chores. The work is based on an implementation plan and clear routines. You will also support him in activities he enjoys, such as walks. He likes to be outdoors every day regardless of the weather, so it is an advantage if you also enjoy being outside. Other interests include music and sports.

Education, Experience and Personal Qualities 

We are looking for someone who is responsible, social, calm, and has a professional demeanor. Experience in personal assistance or working with individuals with aphasia is an advantage. Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement to understand the client and support him in communication with the outside world.

Additional Information 

• Employment Type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts
• Working Hours: Day, evening, and weekend. On weekdays, shifts are from 8:40 AM to 8:30 PM, and on weekends from 9:10 AM to 9 PM
• Working Percentage: Part-time
• Start Date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
