We have been entrusted to start a completely new assistance assignment with a wonderful young man living on a farm outside Strömstad. He lives here with his family as well as many different animals. This means we are looking for someone who does not have allergies to furry animals.

We are looking for someone who wants to help shape adventurous days with our client! He is a cheerful 28-year-old with autism. He needs calm, responsible, and positive assistants who see possibilities. We are looking for an assistant who wants to help build new routines as there have previously been a lack of resources to help him be active and have a varied everyday life. This is an opportunity to create a fun and, above all, exciting job as a personal assistant.

The role and experience of the assistant

You need to be calm, secure, attentive, and engaged as a person. We believe that the best for the client are stable, reliable individuals who have a good sense of humor and the ability to see the positive side. Support is needed in hygiene, cooking, and activities, as well as constant supervision.

You guide and motivate when needed, while also understanding when to step back. The tasks include most of what is done in everyday life, and we do it together! You are helpful and a support in everything the client does. No heavy lifting is involved.

Experience from similar work is an advantage. We prefer male applicants, but it is not a requirement. It is important that you fit into the family situation, and most importantly, that you and our client enjoy each other's company, have good chemistry, and have fun together! It is a plus if you enjoy art, music, and media.

You will receive individualized introduction and access to our training program.

Desirable experiences

• Swedish spoken and written.
• Communicative in English since one parent understands very little Swedish.
• Experience in similar work.
• Driver's license (B)

Working hours/employment rate

• The position is for 40 hours a week.
• Working hours 09:00 - 17:00.
