About Us

Youth clinics are for all young people up to 24 years old.

All our clinics are LGBTQ certified, and we work based on the orientation document that is common for the Västra Götaland region and the 49 municipalities in the county. We also work with the quality management system ISO 9001:2015 Health and Medical Care. We strive for diversity and welcome all applicants.

Östra Skaraborg includes six clinics: Skövde, Tibro, Karlsborg, Hjo, Tidaholm, and Falköping. This means that travel is included in the position. The clinics collaborate with each other and have a common unit manager, joint APT, supervision, and further education. Together, we form a cross-professional team that is based on a person-centered approach in working with young people's mental, sexual, and social health. Within the task of working preventively against mental illness, there are good opportunities to test new working methods to increase accessibility and reach our target group.

About the Job

As a curator at the youth clinic, you will work independently with the youth in focus and at the youth's request. You have a broad mandate where you meet the youth in conversations about relationships, sexuality, self-esteem, and more. You will also address mild forms of mental health issues such as anxiety, sleep problems, mild eating disorders, and depression. You will also meet groups of young people in various arenas in outreach work.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a social worker and it is an advantage if you are a licensed health and medical care curator and have basic training in psychotherapy. You also have experience working with youth and young adults. Furthermore, a driver's license is desirable, you are flexible, and have the ability to reflect, prioritize, and organize your work in a way that is beneficial for the assignment.

As a person, you are responsible, positive, flexible, and have a professional approach. You enjoy working independently while also having good collaboration skills. You have a genuine interest and previous experience working with youth. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is located at the Skövde youth clinic, but there may also be work at other clinics in the area.
