The Culture and Education Administration aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our small and large citizens need throughout the various stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the school department and the preschool and culture and leisure department. The school department includes all forms of schooling from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health. The preschool department encompasses all of the municipality's preschools and family daycare providers, while culture and leisure consist of libraries, cultural schools, and youth leisure activities.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with us in our preschools when regular staff are absent. In Munkedal Municipality, we have preschools located in Hedekas, Hällevadsholm, Dingle, Stale, and Munkedal center. You will get to know different workplaces while gaining valuable credentials for the future.

Job Description

The preschool should stimulate children's development and learning while providing safe care. In the preschool, preschool teachers and childcare workers work, where you as a short-term substitute replace regular staff during their absence. Substituting in a children's group means helping and inspiring the children in their activities. Activities take place both outdoors and indoors every day and include everything from play, creative creation, reading books to gatherings and dressing. Creating a warm, safe, and positive learning environment, as well as supporting children in their personal development and play, is always central. The preschool's operations are governed by the Education Act, and the assignment is described in the preschool curriculum, LPFÖ 18. Our preschool operations are conducted in relation to the laws and governing documents that exist to adhere to.

Working hours are scheduled between 06:00-18:00, Monday – Friday. Often, you will need to be able to step in at short notice.

You will make yourself available in our substitute management system. To create continuity, we prefer that you are available at least 10 days a month.

We are looking for you who

• have completed high school with passing grades.
• understand written and spoken information and communicate well in Swedish.
• it is an advantage if you have education or previous experience in preschool.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we value your understanding and empathetic ability to meet children's differences where they are, as well as your flexibility and ability to take initiative. You are confident in yourself and perform your tasks responsibly. You have a pedagogical approach and collaborate well with others.

Conditions

• We want you to present a criminal record extract before employment.
• We will use language tests to verify your ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing.
