Engaged Music Teacher Wanted for Grades 1 and 2

We are expanding our teaching team and are looking for an engaged music teacher for grades 1 and 2.

Do you want to inspire young students and work in a creative and stimulating environment? Then you might be the one we are looking for! The position includes teaching music as well as another subject, and we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our school's development and create a positive learning environment for our students.

You will work as a music teacher for grades 1 and 2. You will plan and conduct music lessons where students get to sing, play instruments, and discover the joy of music based on the curriculum. You will also collaborate with our current music teacher for grades 3-5 to develop the teaching and create a safe and inspiring learning environment.

In addition to music, you will work 50% teaching another subject, based on your qualifications and the school's needs. There may be an opportunity for the distribution between music and another subject to change, and the amount of music teaching may increase in the coming school year.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach music. It is an advantage if you are qualified to teach another subject as well.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, creative, and enjoys working with younger students. You want to collaborate and contribute to the school's community while creating a positive work climate. We see that you are pedagogical, relationship-oriented, secure, and creative - qualities that are important for thriving in the role. You are goal- and result-oriented in relation to the pedagogical work, have a sense of structure, and can adapt the work to best promote students' development. You see changes as opportunities in everyday life.
