We are now looking for a licensed teacher in Science, Technology, and Mathematics for grades 7-9 for a parental leave substitute during the spring term. The position involves working at two schools: 80% Science and Technology at Vallhamra School and 20% Mathematics at Ugglum School. This is suitable for you who enjoy variation, collaboration, and working in different educational environments!

As a teacher with us, you will have a varied and developing assignment. You will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 7-9
• Work both independently and in close collaboration with subject teams and working groups
• Have mentorship in grades 7-9
• Be part of a working group that collaborates for safety, study peace, and good relationships
• Conduct pedagogical documentation, parent collaboration, and other common tasks associated with the profession.
• Participate in a continuous and structured improvement process based on scientific principles

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher or on your way to obtaining your teaching license. You need to be qualified to teach Mathematics and Science for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you are also qualified to teach Technology for grades 7-9.

You have good collaboration skills and a high degree of personal maturity. It is important to us that you are good at establishing and maintaining good relationships, are empathetic, and clear and structured in your working methods. You have the ability to see all students and have the competence and ability to take into account their different circumstances.

The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and leisure to preschool class, primary school, special school, secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. The position is a combination between Vallhamra School and Ugglum School, which are located close to each other, only about 1 km apart, in the scenic Sävedalen, Partille municipality.

Vallhamra School is a K-9 school with about 950 students and works based on the values Safe, Joyful, and Educational. Here, the focus is on safety, respect, and students' learning in an environment where curiosity and pride in achievement are encouraged. Ugglum School is a K-9 school with about 600 students and has motivated students where well-being and collaboration with guardians are central. Here, students are supported to become involved, motivated, and prepared for the future, among other things through buddy programs and preventive measures. Together, the schools offer a stimulating environment with engaged colleagues and students where variation, development, and collaboration are at the center.
