Together, we create safety, structure, and quality of life in everyday life.

With us, you make a difference!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a residential support worker, you provide support in daily life based on the children's individual needs, decisions, and implementation plans according to SoL or LSS. The work involves providing both practical and social support, motivating activity and participation, as well as creating structure and safety in everyday life. You work in a motivating manner and with a calm and respectful approach, always focusing on strengthening the children's independence, participation, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Personal care and support with hygiene, dressing, and daily routines.
  • Household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Healthcare tasks based on delegation.
  • Contributing to meaningful activities and participation, such as walks and outings.
  • Communication and pedagogical support that facilitates everyday life and strengthens independence.
  • Documentation according to current routines.

The position involves working evenings, nights, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children with functional variations, providing good care and support in everyday life. You care about those we are here for and want to contribute to ensuring that children have a good life based on their own conditions. You are responsible, attentive, and able to adapt your approach to different needs and situations. You can work independently but also thrive in close collaboration with others. In challenging situations, you remain calm and find solutions.

A high school education is required, preferably with a focus on care and nursing, child and leisure, or other education deemed equivalent. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is a requirement.

Experience working with children with functional variations, LSS, social psychiatry, or similar is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of LSS, SoL, or methods such as low-arousal approaches and motivational interviewing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Of course, you share our values of being professional, welcoming, engaged, and participatory!

Please note that we will be interviewing continuously during the application period.
