We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant to a 4-year-old boy with intellectual disabilities and visual impairment.

What does the position entail? 

As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of the boy's daily life. The job involves providing support in both daily routines and various activities, both at home and outside. He needs support in his daily life to live as active and meaningful a life as possible. The tasks include, among other things, assistance with personal care, tube feeding, support in communication, support in play, and structure in everyday life.

You need to have a good ability to read and understand signals, as the boy cannot always express himself in words.

The working hours are mainly evenings and weekends.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is committed, attentive, and confident in themselves. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. 

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
• have experience with tube feeding.
• be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend. 
• have experience in care and nursing (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
• be able to understand and make yourself understood in Dari.

Additional Information

Employment type: fixed-term employment

Scope: approx. 50%

Start date: immediately, by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
