We are now looking for a preschool teacher to Stodene Preschool.

As a preschool teacher, you play an important role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children where they can learn and develop as individuals. By engaging in the children's play and activities, you help them develop social and emotional skills while also helping them build confidence and independence.

Stodene Preschool is located on the edge of Stodene Lake, in the middle of a residential area and in close proximity to Stodene School in Skåre. At our preschool, we have three departments divided into five groups. In Cosmos, the very youngest children start, then they move on to the Galaxen department, and in Vintergatan, the children spend their last year in preschool.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you work together with preschool teachers based on current governing documents and implement and develop the educational activities. You assist in planning and conducting activities that promote children's development and learning. You are responsible for providing children with a safe and secure environment in the preschool.

Your main tasks will include:

• Helping children develop their social skills such as cooperating, sharing, and resolving conflicts.
• Participating in documenting children's development and learning by observing and noting their progress and challenges.
• Contact with guardians.
• Assisting during meals, rest, and hygiene.

As a preschool teacher, you have an invaluable role where you help and inspire children in their activities. It is an important and varied job where you need to be prepared for each day to be different.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified preschool teacher through secondary or post-secondary education equivalent to at least 1300 points. You have experience working as a preschool teacher, and as a person, we see that you take responsibility and actively participate in creating a developing, fun, and educational preschool. You have a good ability to see all children and take into account their individual circumstances.

As a preschool teacher, you work closely with children of different ages and situations. Therefore, we see that you have a good ability to adapt to different situations with calmness and empathy, creating a safe and stable environment for the children. You are self-sufficient, which means you can plan and carry out activities as well as solve problems independently and together with your colleagues. It is important that you can adapt to new situations as children's needs and daily routines can change quickly during a workday. The position will be filled if the necessary decisions are made.
