Description

The Department of Integration, Provision and Work (IFA) is one of three departments within the labor market and social administration.

The department is responsible for economic assistance, labor market measures, employment, social housing issues, newcomers, and the overall authority exercise for young adults aged 18-24. The starting point for IFA's operations is to create conditions for individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and ensure them a reasonable standard of living, as well as to promote independence.

We are now looking for housing guides for the Unit for Housing, Inclusion, and Administration. The employment is temporary until 2026.

The Unit for Housing, Inclusion, and Administration is responsible for social housing work as well as the inclusion and integration of newly arrived adults and families. We also offer housing support to young adults, guidance in their own homes, and integration support to create good conditions for independence. Our assignments come as authority decisions from social workers at IFA or the Adult Department. The unit also includes the administrative team for the entire IFA as a department.

In the unit, we are a positive and flexible workgroup that helps and supports each other in our work. We are a group that places great importance on ensuring that the work is performed with good quality and with a good approach towards the Karlstad residents we meet and our partners.

Job Responsibilities

As a housing guide, you will work with the reception of newcomers, guidance in their own homes, and integration support, which includes:

Preparing for reception
Home visits
Handling questions that arise
Guiding and other practical elements
Internal and external collaboration
Preparing apartments

Qualifications

We see that you who are applying have post-secondary education such as treatment assistant training or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You should have a good ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining trust in people's ability to change and develop. We are looking for someone who can independently plan and structure their work. You are calm, secure, and caring. We will place importance on personal suitability. Experience in similar work and documentation skills are meritorious.

A driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
