Personal Assistant Wanted

I am an active and communicative 40-year-old woman looking for an engaged and adaptable personal assistant. Are you interested in providing communication support, enjoy working closely with people, and want to help make someone else's daily life as independent as possible? About Me

I enjoy a mix of fast-paced activities and quieter moments. I have a dog and ride regularly – two interests that mean a lot to me. I use a wheelchair and an eye-controlled computer from Tobii Dynavox to communicate. Your help will be crucial for me to continue developing my language and communicating with those around me.

Your Responsibilities

• Support in all daily activities, such as cooking, transfers, and other basic needs.
• Help me develop my communication using Tobii Dynavox.
• Accompany me on my activities, such as riding, traveling, and other social contexts.
• Work flexibly in various locations, such as at my family's home, in my apartment, at work, or during other activities.
• Assist with manual lifts and other practical tasks when needed.

What I Am Looking For in You

• Interest in communication: It is a big plus if you have experience with Tobii Dynavox or other alternative communication methods.
• Language and computer skills: You need to speak and write Swedish fluently and be comfortable with technology.
• Personal qualities: Flexible, engaged, and adaptable in different situations.
• Practical requirements: Non-smoker, no pet allergies, driver's license, and access to a car.
• Experience: Relevant education or previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but the most important thing is that we enjoy working together.

About the Job

• Scope: 20-25 hours per week, with the possibility of extra shifts by agreement.
• Working hours: Varying – day, evening, night, and weekend shifts may occur.
• Introduction: You will receive a paid introduction so that we can get to know each other and you feel comfortable in your role before you start working independently.
• Travel: Some travel of 1–2 weeks per year may occur, where I would like you to accompany me.
