Individual and Family Care, IFO

Individual and Family Care, IFO, is part of the administration of Learning and Work. One of the administration's most important missions is to continue creating positive effects from our collaboration for those we serve and to provide conditions for a safe and independent life.

Individual and Family Care (IFO) primarily works with applications and reports concerning children, families, and adults. The IFO's mission also includes executing and following up on interventions according to SoL, LVU, and LVM.

Individual and Family Care now has a permanent position available for a social worker focusing on harmful use and dependence, violence, and housing social contracts.

Description

IFO has an Adult Group, a Child Group, and a shared Open Care that handles family treatment and dependency treatment. Within Open Care, there is also open parental support and youth counseling.

The Adult Group consists of three employees and has a case supervisor linked to the group who supports and guides in daily work. As a new social worker, you will also have a colleague as a mentor during the initial period.

Responsibilities

The Adult Group handles authority exercises regarding harmful use and dependence, violence, and housing social contracts.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with people in difficult life situations and who has knowledge and experience of the types of cases that the position focuses on.

The responsibilities include internal collaboration within the administration as well as external collaboration with, for example, the Region. You will meet individuals aged 18 and older, and it may also involve contact with relatives.

You will decide on and follow up interventions to meet the needs of the individual, based on the respective target group.

Qualifications

You are a social worker and preferably have experience in the area of the Adult Group. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation.

You should also have good habits in documenting and expressing yourself well in speech and writing. It is important in the work that you are structured and flexible. You are solution-focused and have good collaboration skills both within and outside your own organization. We prioritize protecting our work joy together and support each other in our work.
