We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant in Karlstad.

What does the position entail?

Here, you will work with a client who is blind, has autism, an intellectual disability, and epilepsy. The client lives alone in an apartment and has double assistance during the day. The work is based where the client is – at home or during various activities. The role is both varied and eventful, and you will be an important part of making the client's everyday life function and feel meaningful. Due to the client's disabilities, it is important that you, as an assistant, work with clarity, structure, and care. You are confident in yourself and enjoy routines.

We are looking for someone who is studying or has another job but wants to do something extra on the side. The role is both varied and eventful, and you will be an important part of making the client's everyday life function and feel meaningful.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend, and awake night shifts may occur.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. You find it easy to collaborate and see your colleagues as an important resource in your own work.

You are welcome to have another occupation on the side.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and be understood in Swedish.
• be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend. Some of our positions also require that you can work nights.
• have experience with autism.
• have experience in care and support (this is a plus, but not a requirement).

Additional Information

Employment type: hourly substitute

Scope: as needed

Start date: by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
