We are looking for four group leaders for Snäppvägen, Andstigen, Västeräng, and Berghaga. We offer leadership programs and several benefits.

About 

The operations are run on behalf of Karlstad municipality, and we will take over the operations from another provider on 2026-03-01. All operations belong to LSS. The operations are somewhat spread out in Karlstad, but two and two are relatively close to each other. Most of the teams have worked together for a long time, and they are well-functioning operations.

About the role  As a group leader, you work both in the operations and administratively. This means that you are a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you create a good working climate in the group every day. You provide conditions for your workgroup to maintain good relationships with the customers and relatives of the operations. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your workgroup and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operations in accordance with Nytida's pedagogical framework. As a Group Leader, you report to the operations manager. You are warmly welcome to apply if you are already working in operations today. It is also possible to become a group leader in a different operation than the one you already work in. Please specify in your application if there is a specific operation you wish to become a group leader for.

Your experience and knowledge You have post-secondary or higher education in care and social services and experience with the target group. You speak and write fluent Swedish. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of various forms of cognitive support, low-affective responses, and experience in leadership.

You have a clear leadership personality and enjoy helping people in your group grow and develop in their professional roles. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and cooperative. You have the will and ability to steer and follow up on operations based on the company's goals and financial frameworks. You are proactive and responsive to the needs of the care recipients and have a natural respect for other people.
