Vänsterpartiet Karlstad is now looking for a campaign representative for the most important election of the century. We are looking for someone who is creative, has extensive knowledge in political communication, and is an experienced user of all social media platforms. You need to be flexible and ready for varied tasks as a campaign involves many different elements and work during evenings and some weekends.

It is important that you have a strong understanding of Vänsterpartiet's politics and that you enjoy talking to new people. You need to be able to plan and lead campaign projects together with our elected politicians and active members. Your supervisor will be the board of Vänsterpartiet Karlstad. Responsibilities

The position involves working with:

• Leading campaign projects – planning, booking, and distributing tasks before and during the campaign
• Communication - Producing opinion pieces, press releases, and communication for social media related to the election.
• Knowledge support – Providing assistance to elected officials in gathering materials for debates, inquiries, or interviews.
• Practical help – Assisting the organization in printing materials, transporting items, and helping with purchases related to the election, etc.

Qualifications

To apply for the position, we want you to have the following qualifications:

• Be structured and able to work independently and solution-focused under time pressure
• Be creative and easily generate ideas and concepts
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Have good knowledge and experience with social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Have a good ability to summarize and communicate complex issues in an understandable and concise manner
• Have extensive knowledge of Vänsterpartiet's politics and ideology

It is particularly meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with election campaigns and/or political campaigns
• Experience working for Vänsterpartiet
• Relevant university education and/or other training in the field.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment rate: 50 %

Employment: Temporary from 2026-02-01 to 2026-09-30 (8 months)

Working hours: Unregulated working hours, evening and weekend work may occur

Start date: 2026-02-01

Salary: According to Vänsterpartiet's national salary scale

Workplace: Norra Klaragatan 1, 653 40, Karlstad

Collective agreement: Vänsterpartiet has a centrally procured collective agreement with Handels.
