In the northern part of Tomelilla municipality, you will find I Ur och Skur Brösarps school for students in grades F-6.

Our profile, I Ur och Skur, means that we take advantage of the nature around us in learning situations and teach outdoor skills. Alternating teaching outdoors/indoors with theory and practice. Brösarps school is the only municipal I Ur och Skur school in Sweden. We have a fantastic outdoor environment that now also includes outdoor classrooms and a greenhouse with cultivation opportunities. An opportunity to enhance learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute teacher with us, you may need to step in and substitute within the school and leisure center at short notice. Whether you are a qualified or unqualified teacher, you are engaged in pedagogical learning and can to some extent lead the teaching.

We offer you high flexibility that allows for a combination of work and studies (or other employment). This is done by allowing you to make yourself available in our staffing system when you want and can work, provided it aligns with the needs of the operation for substitutes.

You can be a substitute as a teacher and/or teaching assistant:

  • As a teacher, you promote a safe and educational school day for all students. In the classroom, it can for example involve how the day starts or how a lesson begins.
  • As a teaching assistant, you are the students' closest support in all everyday situations and follow a student or a group of students throughout the entire school day.

You will be involved in the pedagogical work where you challenge and support the children in their development and learning. For us, it is important that you are confident in yourself and comfortable working independently, as well as being able to collaborate with various professional roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed and approved high school education. If you are educated or have ongoing studies to become a childcare worker, preschool teacher, teacher, or have other equivalent pedagogical education, it is an advantage.

Previous experience from work or internships in preschools, schools, and leisure centers is advantageous.

To thrive with us, you need to have a genuine interest in working with children and young people. As a person, you are responsible, attentive, and patient. You are stable and have a low-arousal approach with the ability to create safety for our children and young people. You possess the ability to take initiative and feel comfortable presenting in front of a group.

You are clear, structured, and have good initiative skills. You enjoy collaborating while also being able to work independently. You have a positive attitude and a good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Since communication with children, guardians, and colleagues is a large part of the assignment, it is necessary to be fluent in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
