Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 1-3 at Tingdamm School for a temporary position during the spring term.

You will work together with other teachers, special teachers, and special educators, focusing on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will educate and support students in their social and academic development. You will challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Tingdamm School, you will have the opportunity for development in your role as a teacher, as well as work in modern facilities with nature close by. We believe that the quality of teaching increases through differentiation and are committed to ensuring the safety of students, which provides a conducive learning environment.

In addition to your team of teachers, you will also collaborate with leisure educators and special educators. You will be guided by a school leadership that encourages your own initiatives, recognizes your commitment to the organization, and satisfaction in your work. In your role, you will work with mentorship for some of our students. As a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, allowing you to follow their academic development and personal growth more closely. As a mentor, you will create a good relationship and communication with the student's guardians and inform them about the student's academic progress through regular development discussions.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with qualifications for teaching grades F-3. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we see this as an asset. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
