Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for after-school care at Bulltofta School Area. You will be part of a team in after-school care for grades F-3 and become part of a wonderful group striving for the best school for every student!

At Bulltofta School Area, you are offered the opportunity to help create an inspiring after-school program for our students. As a primary school teacher in after-school care with us, you will plan and conduct lessons and assess students in our after-school program. Based on the curriculum and governing documents, we will together create a safe environment in the after-school care that aims to strengthen our students in both their knowledge development and personal growth while they have a meaningful leisure time.

In after-school care, we also strive to promote diverse contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. While our students are in school, you will collaborate with our school staff, and it may also be relevant for you to teach one or more subjects during the students' school hours. Together, we create a program that meets our students and guardians in the best way based on their individual needs!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in after-school care. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in the profession. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have a good didactic and pedagogical ability that allows you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is based on evidence-based research, and you have good experience working effectively with relevant digital tools. To fit as a primary school teacher in after-school care with us, it is important that you are curious, driven, and engaged, and that you enjoy collaborating with others.

About the Workplace

Within Bulltofta School Area, there are approximately 500 students distributed among the three schools: Bulltoftaskolan, Karlshögsskolan, and Mölletoftaskolan. At Bulltoftaskolan, about 300 students attend from preschool class up to grade 6. There is one class in each grade from F-3 at Bulltoftaskolan, and from grade 4, three parallel classes are formed as students from Bulltoftaskolan, Karlshögsskolan, and Mölletoftaskolan are combined. Bulltoftaskolan is normally located adjacent to Beijerspark, but due to renovations, the school will be located in the historic premises of Rådmansvången School behind Triangelns shopping center for two years starting from the 2023-2024 school year. Karlshögsskolan and Mölletoftaskolan are two of Malmö's smallest schools, with Karlshögsskolan located in the residential area of Håkanstorp and Mölletoftaskolan on the old Bulltofta airfield, near Flygfältsparken. Approximately 100 students attend each of these two schools from preschool class to grade 3. At Bulltofta School Area, you will contribute to the development of our ongoing change work where innovation is our foundation and occurs through collaboration. The schools collaborate with Malmö University and other community actors.
